Why do you wish to be unbanned?: I do not believe it's a valid reason to ban someone just because they're associated as I did not participate in "extreme mingery" nor did I break any server rules. I was never given a warning, spoken to, or even sent to a sit. Please try to put your perspective in mine and see why it's wrong. I recently joined the server, played and RP'd for a bit with others, then got banned the next day all because I'm a friend of someone who got banned. I did associate myself with his ban appeal as I was a witness due to his discord streaming. I was the friend he was waiting for to join but that doesn't give you the right to ban me. And also, he wasn't trying to "extremely minge" so I don't know why you quickly assumed to permaban him. When you banned him the second time, you didn't bring him to a sit and explain to him what he was doing wrong and why he's gonna be banned again. I know that he got banned a day before and that was his fault for not reading the rules. BUT, he did not get banned for minging. He opened a box, stole something without RPing it. It's a rule and he didn't know which is his fault. Instead of whining about it, he did at least accept the punishment and waited patiently for a day because he understood that he broke a server rule. When he returned back from his first ban, he got banned three minutes in just because he was "Bhoping" when he was only jumping a couple of times. I've seen other people jump more than him and they didn't get any sort of punishment or warnings. Just because he opened a couple of cases, doesn't mean he was "stealing" anything. If it's open then it's open, it's not his fault. It shouldn't be considered a "raid" when things are unlocked, people should try to lock their things as well. This time, he wasn't stealing anything. If opening a box is considered as a "raid" then why didn't the admin specify that to him in the first sit? I can understand that running, jumping, and opening things around may not be appropriate around a serious HL2 server but minging states that he was trolling with people in an attempt to mess with their experience. If you're polite enough to give us another chance then we can prove to you that we're different than what you expected. It truly seems like you've assumed and judged him and myself as minges when that is not the case at all. Why would I waste my time to get unbanned with this thread and then get myself banned again if you believe I'm going to do something stupid? You are not losing anything but time if I did. Assumptions should never overrule the facts, it is important to understand.
My friend got banned for another day but then it changed to "extreme mingery" after he spoke with Neonity and the Head-Admin in Discord DMs. I can't see how he minged before or after his ban, you chose to ban him for a day and then changed it to a permaban. You also added onto his permaban that he could appeal on the forums, however, he was also blocked and banned from your forums. He was also kicked out of the Discord after saying a couple of jokes, he was later on blocked from DMs when he spoke to the Head-Admin. You changed your minds by permabanning him completely after a discussion in Discord. He got banned twice, sure, but not for mingery as stated before. He even provided evidence of his view with a recording, which clearly showed how he wasn't minging. He only ran around, searched some boxes, and jumped a couple of times. A CP chased and called for him to stop, and so he did. He cooperated and didn't attempt to troll. If his intention was to minge then why did he stop and cooperate when the CP called for him? Why waste time on a ban appeal, gather proof, and DM people if he's "minging" as you stated. Why get frustrated and mad over a ban if he's "minging", why would a minge waste their time to get banned again? If you banned him for that then I expect you to ban more people for that exact same reason. You can argue about how harsher you need to be after someone is breaking the rules again, but I never broke a rule which contradicts that counter-argument. You straight-up banned me after I left the server. This is not how it should be done, you should've taken a look at our side and perspective before giving out punishments and judgments. If you thought he was rude or disrespectful in any shape or form when he DM'd you in Discord then you should've stated that to him. I'm not trying to tell you how to do your job, it's something I would recommend you that should do next time.
I did enjoy the server as well and I wasn't even trying to minge or anything so I believe that someone should take a look at my appeal and at least reconsider, even if I was told in my ban to not "waste my time on appeal" which is quite funny to me honestly since you haven't even given me a chance to say anything. But I'm here now to shed my version of this story. I would rather sort this out as mature as possible rather than just straight of getting permabanned from the server without a proper discussion. I would also like to apologize on behalf of my friend's attitude to some of the admins yesterday, he was just heated and frustrated at the time as he just came back from a ban, believed his ban was unfair and you also have to understand that he is also new but that doesn't mean anything. We understand that this server has a "No-Minge Policy" and that is completely fine with us but you took it too far when you permanently banned us without proof of us minging, that's because we never minged.
Meaning of the word Minge: "Minge is an interchangeable term for people who attempt troll, mostly used within Garry's mod, they usually use exploits/hacks in order to attempt to accomplish their goal. Minges often do this for amusement or to get specifically wreak havoc due to anger/drama."
Meaning of the word BHOP: "Bunny hopping is a video game technique used in first-person shooter (FPS) games in which the player continually runs and jumps, often while firing a weapon. Gaining Speed: Bunny hopping can increase the speed at which players move, allowing them to close the distance when attacking opponents."
It isn't fair that I got permanently banned for being a friend with someone who got banned. Being associated or related with someone who got banned, doesn't mean that they should get banned. Put yourself in a scenario where you recently joined a serious HL2 server then get banned from it as you know a person who got permanently banned. Is it truly fair when you haven't done anything wrong? I only vouched for him as I was a witness and I was nice enough to tell the admin who banned him in the OOC Chat that he appealed in the forums. If you're not going to do anything with my appeal, or ignore my thread then you might as well block and ban me from your forums as you did to my friend. Please prove me wrong if you can, because I'm genuinely taking this seriously and I'm not trying to screw around or waste anyone's time. I've been following the server rules like I should and never got in any problems with staff. Thank you for taking the time to read this, I hope you understand our frustration and situation.
