“Rumored his father was involved in the several atrocities during the Second Sino-Japanese War, his father had retreated along with many other Nationalists to the island of Taiwan to continue the fight there and avoid any prosecution. Xiao was born shortly after the ceasefire of the civil war after meeting Xiao’s mother. There was not a whole lot to Xiao aside from being a part of the building up of Taiwan. Eventually his father died when Xiao reached the age of 9, resulting in severe grief. He looked up to his father and sought to continue what his father once stood for.”
“Nothing meaningful happened aside from eventually being educated originally to become a politician for the not so Democratic Kuomintang party, but instead grew a dislike to Chiang Kai-shek for his failure to uphold Sun-Yatsen (though in secret for potential treason against the “new” nation). He settled into a more useful degree for industrial management and began working at a company and rising slowly through the ranks. He did find a woman but never had children as she was infecund. As he was about to retire, the whole Black Mesa and Combine incident occurred, putting a permanent hold on retirement."
