You can get the ingredients, most of them, from the black-market dealer so I don't think it eliminates the possibility of getting them on your own.

But who makes drugs exactly? Its easier to rp being a junkie buyer with a smuggler and yourself than with others.

Drug dealer characters, if you buy everything from the smuggler (Drugs in this case) there really isn't any RP to that either. No drugs in the smuggler then go around slums and ask IC.

I mean… buying drugs from a player creates more role play than buying from an NPC. Gives the chemistry bench some use as well.

But who or when are the players? There's better things than drugs that give boosts and there is no addiction side effect of using drugs, leaving them essentially useless and making it easier to buy them off of a smuggler if someone wants to roleplay a junkie
