| Yuri Sokolov was born in the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv in 1993. His childhood was rough without a father, Stemming a lot of resentment for him causing Yuri to dedicate himself to loyalty. Without a Father to raise him, his mother did most of the work and had little time for her son. To occupy his time Yuri did a lot of reading over the years. Becoming quite knowledgeable in things from around the world. Learning of other cultures, recipes, world history, etc. Although none of this mattered in 1998 when portal storms came to be and wreaked havoc on the world as we know it today. His school life was rather short as he dropped out of high school to assist his mother in work. Taking trade jobs around Kyiv in order to pay their landlord's expensive rent that they struggled to keep up with. Because of this constant worry about falling into poverty, Yuri developed a hatred for systems in place to put down those who could not afford to live. This later caused him to see the Combine as a gift to humanity in regards to poverty. Everyone was on equal footing at the start, a clean slate to improve their living conditions. After the invasive species came through in the early 2000s via portal storms, most of the inhabitants of Kyiv began to live their day-to-day life in metro tunnels to avoid the creatures' topside. Reluctantly coming topside to loot and salvage what has left of the world above. Yuri was one of the few individuals selected and trained to go scavenging for supplies on a routine basis. Learning the necessary skills to survive post-portal storms. Eventually, when the Combine invaded Earth they reclaimed Kyiv and repurposed it as Urban Center 53. | Yuri was one of the many who left the dark metro stations below his home city to move into his now repurposed city. However, he would not be able to stay for long as they relocated most citizens to disperse the populace. They moved Yuri to City 8 for 2 years where he lived in solace knowing he was well cared for instead of struggling to pay for unfair rent and necessities. However, Yuri wished to further his betterment by joining the Civil Protection Force. After weeks of training and prep work, Yuri was sent back into City 8 to start his first week into his new life-long career. When the Residents of 24 were staying in City 8 while their own city was being reconstructed, a city-wide experiment was conducted on the populace. The first week of Yuri's job as a civil protection officer was a horrifying one. A Red Fog, A bioweapon, was released on the populace that induced fearful, rage-inducing hallucinations. Those exposed would begin to laugh and scream and cry hysterically and attack those around them in a wild frenzy. Yuri- Now tagline JURY-3, fled into the Nexus with the other survivors. He then aided in the evacuation of citizens, putting down those that had lost their mind in the process. He was one of the few who survived the experiments of City 8 that the CPRD was conducting on the populace. The horrors he endured changed JURY-3 into a survivor with no qualms of taking lives anymore. |

He's taught me much in our line of work and it's enjoyable to perform interrogations with him. I am glad to have someone to model myself after. I'd like to thank you as a responsible and loyal individual. You seem tired though, Maybe you've been in the game for too long and just don't care as much anymore.
