SignUp Now!wait until you hear about real life insurgent groups, and how the allies encouraged resistance groups in the axis powers to fight their oppressors.I LOVE AND SUPPORT THE IDEA OF A WEAPON/OVERALL WIPE.
I spoke with Gutsy about this yesterday, and I made it very evident that I fully support a weapon wipe. The fact that every rebel’s kit seems to be a rifle, regardless of how long they’ve BEEN A REBEL, is ridiculous.
In my own opinion, CCR IS TO BLAME. They are far too common, and far too easy for rebels to kill. Then, rebels can just stock up on their guns.
This shit feels like a semi-serious server's grinding. It's get scrap guns>shoot cop>get better gun>shoot ota>get rifle.
It's got to change.
where are the allies in hl2?wait until you hear about real life insurgent groups, and how the allies encouraged resistance groups in the axis powers to fight their oppressors.
theres no way bro is comparing this damned server to REAL LIFEwait until you hear about real life insurgent groups, and how the allies encouraged resistance groups in the axis powers to fight their oppressors.
lol I had a feeling this was gonna happen. Don't take my word as law because I don't play but to me this was one of the only things that the C8 map had and seemed unique story wise. It apparently being nearly insta-killed off is probably evidence that it was just some reaction by some hard ass that killed anything interesting and not something that will actually drive rp and story forward. Tell me if I'm wrong lolafter the death of the Kamikos
As a newer player to the community, seeing a group of conscripts in the city with better weaponry than CPs bag someone and cart them off for forced conscription was weird for a CityRP server.

This isn't the case anymore. We've been turned into a loyalist militia, we're also being funded by various loyalist groups and getting junk weapons is not happening. Criminals and prisonners are almost extinct, and most of the people are actual volunteers that have signed up.CCR should have junk weapons, especially considering how most of them are prisoners, criminals and volunteers.
Which is exactly why these 'volunteers' shouldn't have anything above junk weapons. Like I said, high-command officers, sure, they can have submachine guns. However, I can't name a singular reason why a volunteer should not have a junk weapon. Said junk weapons are exactly made for these type of situations. Easy to grab, easy to make. The Combine wouldn't value a volunteers life enough to give them a SMG, let alone an AR(!).and most of the people are actual volunteers that have signed up.
are you taling about an AR2 or a normal assault rifle? their pretty common to my knowledge and the combine would probably just give anything on handWhich is exactly why these 'volunteers' shouldn't have anything above junk weapons. I honestly think it's ridiculous to have CCR be a loyalist Militia, why doesn't the Combine just force transhumanization? They're just people that say "We're loyal" and they're handed an MP5, the recruitment document doesn't really have any insight. This isn't the case anymore. We both agree on this, it doesn't make sense. So bear with me.why doesn't the Combine just force transhumanization?
I wanted to have some rebel versus rebel action. I think it definitely adds more roleplay, more drama, makes the faction more nuanced, you name it. You're absolutely in the right saying this. There is however one giant issue that arises from this: not many captured rebels want to OOCly be part of the faction. Most attempts to recruit rebels have failed. It makes much more sense if in the transition we have CCR Become a penal battalion once again,
There are motives for this. One, is being the actual lore:while the loyalists don't have any real motives besides an OOC

Believe me when I say this, but this bit here only applies to 2-3 of my players in the faction. Every member is here for the passive military roleplay. Where you just sit at a table with one another, and reminiscence about past events, expos. I'm very careful about who gets in the faction and that attitude doesn't fly.I want to be in a Combine Faction or I want to S2K without having to grind.
Plus then you have 10-15 people out in the outlands and then 5 people in the slums leaving around 18 people in the actual city to Roleplay.I don't think the CCR should exist at all. It doesn't have a place in lore. Give more shit for CivPro to do.
Only way I see them "existing" is as a lore group in the Outlands. They don't have a place in CityRP and draws the attention of people away from the actual city itself.
Rn is there's 50 people on the server and 12 of them are flagged up on conscript then there's actually only 38 people on the server.
