Audio Log 1: The Beginning of the End​


unknown male scientist: "hello? is... is this thing on?"

unknown female scientist: "for the last time Bill, it should be working!"

Bill: "oh there it goes! Thanks Valora..."

Valora: "ugh... your welcome..."

Bill: *clears his throat* "hello.... this is audio log 1, and we're not really supposed to give them titles buuuuttt screw it! I'll just call this one... The Beginning of the End"

Bill: "why? you might ask, well let me explain....."

Bill: "if your hearing this, then...... *sigh* then the plan worked! humanity has survived the portal storms... and the 'Black Mesa humanity revival project' has been a success! The discovery of these labs by whoever is listening to these logs was intentional! These labs are full of years of studies by the remaining Black Mesa staff, after... it happened....

Bill: "currently we are setting up the lab that will soon continue to study the affects of the portal storms that are currently ravaging the earth as I speak......

Bill: "so by discovering this lab, you can advance our new thriving humani-..... *sigh* oh forget it, I'll cut the act...."

Bill: "look, the only reason I'm acting all happy like this was because this was part of a failed project... what your seeing now, a failed attempt drawn up by the scientists that survived the black mesa incident, at giving humanity a small chance of survival, but we only did this just to continue our studies on the Xenien lifeforms we encountered in the first place.....

Bill: "that being said, I can't really imagine humanity surviving, I mean, let's be honest, I'm actually surprised humanity hasn't been enslaved by some intergalactic alien empire by now.....

Bill: "anyways, this audio log will at least help document our hardships until the very end, now I am needed with the construction of the lab so I'm gonna sign off for now...."

*The sounds of buttons being pressed then one final tap and the audio would cut*

Audio Log 2: The storms continue ​

*Static, then the audio log begins*

Bill: "hel.... hello?"

Bill: "ok, hello, this is my second audio log titled The storms continue"

Bill: "so today this morning a large portal storm was seen off in the distance, thankfully away from Geneva!"

Bill: "scans indicated there was some xenian lifeforms on the surface, after sending out a small group.... they... they came back with a headcrab...."

Bill: "After we restrained the headcrab, we placed it in a testing vat, this would allow us to keep it under stasis and study it's vitals....

Valora: "Bill! can you get over here, I need your help restraining this headcrab so we can dissect him.....

Bill: "wait, are you talking about the one we just put in the vat?!

Valora: "no! this is a second one we found snooping around one of the unfinished rooms!

Bill: "alright got it, I have to go.... I am a scientist after all!"

*Before the audio log cut, the sounds of things falling over and glass breaking could be heard, followed by a screeching noise as what sounds like a man get's latched onto by a headcrab, screams could be heard followed by gunshots.....*

Not to be rude but the audio logs would look way more serious if not for the grammar mistakes.

also you could make the formating better like bolding the names of speakers.

While on the topic of grammar it is "Followed by a screeching noise as what sounds like a man getting latched onto by a headcrab, screams could be heard followed by gunshots....."

Not to be an arse but these were just a few I saw at the end

the word fallowed is a word, so is getting, what part of it makes it a grammar mistake?
 
lol sorry, fixed it, forgot it's spelled Followed not Fallowed, that being said what is wrong with getting?
 
Audio Log 4: New Evolutions
​
*The screen would revert back to a loading status, likely meaning this log's files were not corrupted and could be loaded without any errors*

Bill: "Audio Log 4: New Evolutions, date is August 15th, 2002..."

Bill: "The world has been a mess, we've watched the news... sadly... it would seem as the portal storms grow, interference is getting stronger, so we will soon lose all contact with the outside world..."

Bill: "Soon enough we will no longer be able to communicate with the other labs... so we've begun a massive data share, sharing all the data we've collected up to this point...."

Bill: "At the moment, Valora and a few other scientists are working to compare the data sent to us with our own, in hopes we can learn more about things we encounter in our studies going forwards"

Valora: "Bill, I need you to come quick!"

Bill: "I'm coming! what is it you need?!"

Valora: "look at the testing vats, the headcrab... its.... its evolving!"

Bill: "oh my god!"

Bill: "I wish I could show images on this thing"

Bill: "so apparently, it would seem the headcrab we have stored is going through a mutation of some kind"

Bill: "Warts appear to be growing all over it, and I'm not shore what that might mean, perhaps it is some kind of headcrab puberty, none the less, we will make shore to keep some scientists on it"

Bill: "We have also begun the process of capturing a zombie, it would seem the amount of them are indeed increasing, which is both concerning and exciting"

Bill: "I will be ending this log now, as I must begin some studies on some new samples of fauna we gathered this morning"

Bill: "Bill out!"

*The audio log would cut*
