I am pretty happy with how current rebel rp works out roleplay wise.
However, I disagree with the existence to PK appeals. As for the existence of False PKs contributing to its current availability, I believe they should rather be dealt as RDM to deter PKs without embedded reasons from the roleplay behind them.
The reason I advocate for this is due to prefering a fluency of roleplay narrative. As to my eyes, it is far too obvious to see what is going on the server when you can measure deaths by the frequency of PK appeals on the forums. And when someone has their appeal accepted, having to reintegrate a character who used to be dead feels like a retcon if you already had moved on from their passing.
The frequency of PK appeals can be comedic and the way some frustrated posts are written admittedly hilarious.
I'd be happy to hear your takes in checking this idea out for potential flaws.
