I think its just if they are missing a collar.
If its activating if they are just missing shackles then *shrugs*
Hopefully with the upcoming redesigns of Vortigaunt Loyalty that should be fixed (aka: Vortigaunts with CIDs won't trigger it)....
There has been adjustments to the application process.
1. The requirement to write a long and detailed backstory has been cut and moved to being a requirement to liberate your Vortigaunt.
2. A couple of the pointless questions have been removed
3. All approvals will lead to a trial to check...
I agree that we should pull away from the idea of a all-powerful occupation that can crush anything that even looks like a resistance by blinking at it.
However, I do not think the idea of "Combine's Afghanistan" should represent this situation since I think the combine are somewhat more...
Q. What is the height limit of a Vortigaunt
A. As the old and now buried Equinox Megathread states (with some slight adjustment):
"Their average height tends to be around six foot one inches, though Vortigaunts have been known to be of shorter and taller heights, with the common lower range...
This seems like yet another fallout reference (at least I assume that's where he got the idea from) especially with that logo. Everything else about it still feels unique though and does not directly reference fallout.
- The Old Wise Vortigaunt (as a advantage)
Of course the Mystic-type character is not generally frowned upon even if we do not generally agree with you making them. However, I've noticed a tendency for individuals joining this faction to create old-wise characters as a sort of a "roleplay"...
Q: How do Vortigese Names work?
A. Mechanically speaking the name that you choose when you create your character cannot be fully understood by any character that have their Vortal inputs impaired. Thus when choosing a identity among humans you will likely need to use a nickname or a adequately...
Well as the former administrator Equinox had stated in one of his countless suggestion threads - Citizen RP and the city itself is far more important then any other faction. However, rather then take the approach of trying to shove Rebel RP back into the City RP again without further thought or...
As it turns out I have more then a few suggestions regarding what can be done with the Vortigaunt Faction (such as the collar rework), but rather then try to promote some of my more complex suggestions for this faction. I would take this time just prior to the new year to promote a couple of...
Q: There is too much Vortigaunt Lore
A: All of it is without fail mythology.
The Grand Elders have the capability to effectively manipulate the Vortessence to the point where they can fabricate a past that may have never occurred. So long as the collective species believes in a story being...
Initially.
Add the events of the Seven Hour War and a interval of several years and you'll get a situation where the Vortigaunts are the least scary thing in the room (the other thing in the room being a OTA Soldier).
TBH I don't think they killed that many. Most of the Vortigaunts on Earth appeared after the end of the Nihilanth and the ones that did do the killing were mostly localized to the South-Western Part of the US and Northern Mexico.
They won't.
That goes against their entire MO with the sheer exception of a few exceptional pieces of shit. The far majority of them just want to persist on earth, and the net result of that is just going to be District 9 since shitty humans are going to want them out of their way.
Don't get...
How it would preferably be: Mild Acceptance
How it would likely be (99% of the time): Xie Crow or as I like to call it: "District 9"
I'm not saying that its impossible to care for a Vortigaunt since its clear that someone cared for a Vortigaunt enough to call it Uriah in EP2. However they will...
