Essentially, separate rations and wages to make being a Loyalist or in a faction more practical. This could be:
- Using your CMU/CWU Card on a terminal to receive your allocated wages every so often, in the same or different timeframe as before.
- A 'request' wages button on the civil terminal which acts the same as above.
- A new terminal in CMU/CWU buildings which pay can be withdrawn from
Or anything else.

The idea is simply that with rations being off all of the time it ironically hits employed Loyalists the hardest... which isn't exactly practical ICly or OOCly. Doing it this way means that players have even more reason to find themselves a job in the 'city' which is obviously good for the server as a whole, it keeps stores and players from an endless cycle of austerity every time rations are down but it also hits the lower class just as hard, which is the desired effect when shutting down rations. It doesn't make it any harder on anyone, just easier for those that it makes sense to.

So fun fact...back when Willard was first launching way o' way back, we were trying to essentially implement this in.OldSchoolMemories.png
Since I was the head of the DoP (before it was changed and splintered into the Civil Workers Union and Commerce), we had to figure out essentially different payment systems. As shown, the rations would roughly come up the same, but if you worked in different fields, you were supposed to get additional credits.
However when the server launched (just a week or two I think before Cyberpunk 2077 launched), there was several bugs in the economy (specifically LUA bugs with the ration system), which in turn completely crashed and destroyed the economy. Haven't hopped on the server in ages, so I have no idea what new changes have been implemented.

Declined

Moving this to declined since its been in the backlog for too long, if it hasn't been picked up by now then we're likely not able to prioritize it. Feel Free to re-suggest it in the future!
