Pre-Face:

When you die, you are not given any reaction time to do anything. All your time, sometime months, maybe even years for some people of roleplaying is gone without being able to type your final reaction to the end of your characters life.

The Suggestion:

Final Reaction Death Time: After you bleed out or are finished off, you are presented with 2-3 minutes to do your final /me's before the screen fades to black. This will allow you to properly roleplay your death instead of being presented with a lame YOU ARE DEAD screen, allowing for a satisfying cinematic experience. Characters are roleplayed for months, and to allow them a passing few moments to express their final actions is a way to respect the dedication players put into their characters rather than just be presented with a death screen instantly.
Admins will have to code it so you cannot /radio or /yell during your final moments
Put a warning in the final death screen saying not to powergame as well in your final /me's

The Pros & The Cons

Pros:

Gives a respectful way to players to send off their characters
Allows for final character development, reacting to others around you in sorrow and pain
Allows more roleplay.

Cons:
Admins will have to code it so you cannot /radio or /yell during your final moments so people cannot abuse it. This is a death reaction; you can't make a final stand. Put a warning in the final death screen saying not to powergame as well in your final /me's

I think you can /me while down

You can in bleedout, but this suggestion is for after bleedout, reacting to your characters death and final /me's. Bleedout mode is just injury rp, you are still alive.

Think of it like this. You are allowed to type out something along the lines of this

**John Freeman Flutters his eyes, tears falling down his face from the pain of the pulse rifle round to his neck. Blood fills his throat as memories of friends, family, and loved ones fill his mind. The pain is subsiding, he can't feel his feet anymore. His hands feel numb. He looks above him, the Overwatch Solder standing inches away as it barks orders to its Squad mates. He utters to the Overwatch "Tell Dr.Breen.---That I said fuck you!" He gives a bloody grin to the solider, his eyes turning pale

As compared to an instant

YOU ARE DEAD
Screen showed to you before you can even react to a final /me of dying

Rather than have some mechanic for this I think it'd be a good policy for the admins doing the PK to allow the player who's about to lose his character to roleplay the deaht properly, whenever the situation allows it.

I think that's wishful thinking. In TBC and S2K, I don't think most people are thinking clearly in terms of RP. Combat brain activates and you typically doubletap anyone that's down. So having it be a mechanic would allow people a chance.

The game won't let you. After you exit bleedout mode you are faced with a big fat YOU ARE DEAD screen, can't roleplay your characters death at all at the moment.
