The fabricators in V3 are outrageous. Echo One. I had to say it.

I'm the manager at the clinic in D1, for the one day we had the fabricator we printed a ridiculous amount of food using our reserves of materials, we printed lobster, stuffed bread, pies, a wide variety of sides, and beverages. We ran out of plastic scripts because we aren't absolute lootslaves, we actually took donations to get more plastic scripts. Everyone ate like loyalists for practically free using the most common loot item available.

Look at how ridiculously far we got with it, it actually had to be taken away from the server because of how overpowered it is.
The fabricator conflict would work significantly better if you controlled who made the slop food and not lobster.

List of items the fabricators should be able to produce:
- T0-1 Rations
- Paste
- Dr> Breen (blue, red, yellow)
- Artificial alcohol
- Artificial foods (meats and such)
- Artificial beverages (artificial lemonade/fruit juice)
- Super simple ingredients (ex: egg powder, not vegetable boxes)

- Actual materials from resin
- Suggest more in the comments please

List of items the fabricators SHOULDN'T be able to produce:
- Real food (apples, oranges, steak, chicken, lobster, pie)
- Real beverages (beer, wine, lemonade)
- Actual materials from biopaste (High quality fabric, other-- for clarification i think it should be able to produce materials using resin)
- Suggest more in the comments please

What this does is make higher quality food options a player process, while I do understand GMs don't grow in trees, I think authorizations to make distilleries, farms, and more in apartments brings much more than, "Yeah so just press 'recycle'." For any CWU patriots out there, I just want you to know that importing and locally producing products exist so don't be scared, I hope importing could be done like in D1, with actual people you talk to and what-not from the rails.

TLDR: Fabricators ungood for real food, fabricators doubleplusgood for artificial food. Material production using biopaste doubleplusungood, material production using resin doubleplusgood

The Willard AP withdrawl is the reason for this and the wikipedia links.

Fab table on v2 was fine I felt, this is extreme and half the food doesn't provide a benefit/deficit to eat like the rest.

I mostly agree with what you are saying, fabricators should not have the power to create alot of the things you have mentioned like foods that are supposed to be naturally grown n whatnot, but im still a little confused at what you are getting at with some other stuff. (this seems mostly just the same thing we had on v2)

I don't really see a point in setting a limit to the tiers you can make rations, assuming they'll all have artificial things

You say that you shouldn't be able to make REAL foods like meats or lemonade, but then proceed to say you're able to make meats and lemonade- only difference being is that its "artificial".
Whats the visual difference between real and artificial?

My standpoint on this, just make the artificial stuff in the form of those Dessicated sustenance bar and Gelatinated calorie paste. For example, you'd get Lemonade flavored sustenance bars, artificially flavored.

T2 is a unknown, but T3 is non-artificial all the way aside from water
(this seems mostly just the same thing we had on v2)
Fixing means fixing, which sometimes means reverting to what we had before EO had messed with the code in some aspects. Also you could make a lot more

The lemonade has no in-game skill effect no matter if artificial or not, I just know these items exist-- however an artificial lemonade bar would be great to have in a ration. The reason for artificial meat is primarily because of the shortage of real meat to cook with (i assume), I wouldn't like to see it as a ration only food. I'm all for removing food stat increases anyways.

It's not about the benefits, Ket, it's about the message of making entirely real meat from a plastic-fed machine.
I tried to compress this down as much as possible to reduce message size. It didn't help much but I'm not turning back.

The 174-page list was due to Echo-One wanting the fabricator to do their own way. I already spoke to Robert, and the list is being reworked again (for the millionth time) to bring it back to what is actually desired for it, not the 174-page you saw for a day and a half.

Why would it have to be non-artificial from T3, who set that up?

as I learned during TLM, even the kneecapped fabricator is an extremely powerful tool, and rarely should non-CWU get their hands on one, generally the problem comes from a CWU tool that is meant to be powerful so CWU can fulfill their job being used by non-CWU.

Finally someone noticing that a fabricator being able to literally create an lobster from a recycled trashs is just straight up bullshit.

It's truly a plot-hole, when at the same time there's a desire to make the living condition of the average citizens terrible, by eating slop at the ration distribution. BUT, you can literally just recycle a few piece of woods, get biopastes and then "summon" a 5 stars fancy meal out of the same machine that is supposed to yield the ration's slop.
