This seems to have been a recurring issue within the community with gas masks giving the argument that the voices are muffled.

Clockwork had a feature that I don't think Helix has yet (Considering Helix is fairly bare bones.)

You used to be able to type ? before you'd say something, for instance -

? Hey put your hands up - Would end up like

Someone says "Hey put your hands up."

Is this feature possible to be implemented into Helix? We already know CP masks have a vocoder filter (putting <:: and ::>) with everything you say after putting it on.

Perhaps an easy way around this would be to place a similar text around people speaking with a gas mask, that can be decided by development. IE an example, saying something in a gas mask could change your text to Bob Good says "<<< I am going to get rations delayed. >>>"

Another way would be to just implement the Clockwork way of things where it just changes their name when they equip the gas mask.

Thoughts? Additional ideas? Yes, no?

We already have this with the "Masked Man" feature.

This suggestion is a bit redundant.

If you wear a mask, your name becomes "Masked man #####" which is to represent that you are no longer recognizable. Its just that ATM it has been disabled due to a few bugs and thus will take time to fix since its not a priority.

Moving this to denied since it is basically a duplicate or a past implement suggestion. While technically accepted, still moving it to denied since it already exists.
