Have you ever had that strange feeling when you're playing on a good RP server where you can experiment with clothing, but after a short time, you run out of interesting ideas for your own style because, in the end, everyone ends up wearing the same outfits?
Exactly, this is a problem that many players have encountered.
I want to share two ideas that could help solve this issue.
1- The first idea I want to suggest isn’t original, as practically everyone has already mentioned it, but it would be a good idea to expand the clothing categories with new types of outfits. Nothing new and nothing original. Even though several years have passed since the end of the Seven Hour War, you could still find pre-war shirts, hoodies, jackets, and many other styles of the same types of clothing, each with its own variations. However, this expansion could apply not only to civilians but also to the CMU or CWU. Pre-war work clothes could be used by CWU for performing tasks in low-risk areas, or CMU could use nurse or surgeon uniforms from the 80s and 90s to denote their status within the organization. Of course, there are already uniforms for these groups, but you could experiment with these pre-war outfits to make them look pre-war yet modernized by the Combine style.
2- The second idea that comes to mind is adding a clothing customization feature. Every outfit could be slightly modified. For example, ordinary shirts could be unbuttoned, sleeves could be rolled up, or, for instance, tied around the waist, and some hoodies could have their hoods up.
That’s all. I don’t feel like writing a long essay on this because it’s one of those typical topics that are all over the forums, but it’s always worth bringing up when new ideas come to mind.
For now, have a nice day.
