I'm not gonna make some ChatGPT made complaint, I'm keeping it short and simple.
Why do we (the players) have an LOOC delay
I'm unique with typing, I'm special with typing.
Where I type like this.
In short bursts rather than long sentences.
And the 200 or so seconds it takes to do another /looc is outragous
I would appreciate if it was lowered- or better yet, non-existent.
I understand that LOOC can be abused, however this is a little much.

The LOOC cooldown is 300 seconds, equating to 5 minutes. I think anyone who made a ticket or tried to explain something to a new player is fully knowledgeable of how annoying it is.

Yes, it's meant to prevent LOOC shitposting, but you don't need a 300 second cooldown to do that. Reducing it to 5 or 7 second would suffice just fine. As an added bonus, it'd lessen the amount of people jumping straight into typing with ".//" the moment they see the ridiculous cooldown timer.

When you extend the limit you encourage people to talk in LOOC more. // in IC chat being uncomfortable is a good thing, as it deters you from speaking OOC'ly in the first place. The current system is good

I think people missusing it is not as bad as you think. Sure if someone just says brainrot in it then deal with it. But someone making a joke does not warrant making the cool down around three minutes. And if people keep using it and you don't want them to in a certain event first people may just be having fun and don't care about it. And second, just charge the timer then change it back after, it's not that hard.

You can literally disable LOOC in your chat if it bothers you. Right click and create new tab, exclude LOOC. Voila.

actually, they should disable disabling looc. THE most important tool, no way to disable it without getting fucked.
