Overwatch Application Format
There is no guide you can access before fulfilling this application. This is based solely on your thoughts of how you feel or think OTA should be.
Application Status:
OPEN
OPEN
Rules
- Any evidence of plagiarism will result in an instant denial.
- Refrain from adding any unnecessary tags to your application post.
- The name of your application should be: [Your Discord name#0000] Overwatch Application.
- If you have already applied, do not post another application
- If you have been denied previously, please wait 2 weeks before applying again
- Do not post false information in your application, this can result in being blacklisted from the faction
- Submit your application into the Overwatch sub-forum found here
- Google documents are allowed
- Stick to the format below
- Do not advertise your app on the server nor discord. If you have been waiting a long time, please contact an Overwatch Lead.
- Refrain from requesting the whitelist before your application has been accepted.
- Do not post unfinished applications.
- Adding additional information is fine to your app, but please refrain from modifying the format.
- Faction Leaders reserve the right to deny your application for any reason.
- Do not post your application if you do not meet the requirements. "I might get this whitelist soon." is not an excuse and will be immediately denied.
(13.) There are only two circumstances where you may post applications outside of waves:
(13-A) Civil Protection may redeem the Transhumanization Award in exchange for an amount of Sterilized Credits and apply when apps are closed.
(13-B) Overwatch Standard Forces may redeem the Transhumanization Award in exchange for an amount of Honor Credits and apply when apps are closed.
(--) Posting applications when apps are closed when not under the above circumstances will result in an immediate denial.
14. Being Blacklisted from any Overwatch Forces faction will result in an immediate denial. (CP, CCA, OTA, OAA, CCG)
15. You are expected to INFORM Overwatch Leads of any rebel/freed vortigaunt characters.
17. Any form of toxic behavior from all Willard Platforms can get you denied
It is REQUIRED that you actively have a character in one of the factions listed below:
[REQUIRES AT LEAST 2 WEEKS OF BEING IN THE LISTED WHITELIST]
- Civil Protection (REQUIRES AT LEAST i5 RANK)
- Combine Civil Administration
[REQUIRES AT LEAST 3 WEEKS OF BEING IN THE LISTED WHITELIST AND WILL UNDERGO ADDITIONAL CHECKS]
- Civil Workers Union
- Civil Medical & Research Union
- Bureau of Research and Innovation
- Ministry of Enlightenment
[EXCEPTIONS]
- Overwatch Auxiliary Arm (REQUIRES TRANSHUMANIZATION REWARD REDEMPTION)
- Civil Protection (REQUIRES TRANSHUMANIZATION REWARD REDEMPTION)
If you do not have a valid whitelist with an ACTIVE character, your application will be immediately rejected.
If you believe to have a notable rebel character, the whitelist criteria may be wiped away at the lead's discretion.
Anyone not with a CP whitelist will have to complete the mandatory CP Quiz that will be sent to you by the leads. It is thus imperative that you put the correct discord name and ID.
If you are not sure whether you fit into these criteria, message astro.2965 over discord
By applying you agree and understand everything stated in this thread. You will be held accountable if you break one of the rules no matter how light or heavy the severity.
Application Format
Steam Name:
Steam ID:
Discord name (With ID):
Timezone (In GMT or UTC):
Any Previous Server Infractions:
Current Whitelists (If Any):
Current Blacklists (If Any):
Are you part of any rebel group? (If so state which, if not put N/A)
Do you possess a high-tier rebel or freed vortigaunt?:
This is now an open format. You may write whatever you wish in order to convince us that you should be whitelisted to the OTA. You can provide reasons why you want to join, scenarios of what you may do as an OTA, general behavior, past experiences with the faction or ones similar to OTA, etc. You are free to write your application however you wish...
However, since these are open formats, we do expect you to be enthusiastic about joining and actually putting the effort into the App. Ones that lack signs of effort and are just slapped together without much care will not make it through, so keep that in mind. You should only apply for this faction if you a willing to complete this app and put the effort into the faction. OTA mainly requires you to have teamwork and an understanding of OTA itself via the HL2 lore.
Do you understand that as Overwatch, you should never ever act in a way that breaks character or roleplay under any circumstances?:
Do you understand that the Overwatch Leads have the right to deny you for any reason should they deem it fit?:
Do you understand that as Overwatch, you are heavily scrutinized and are subject to HEAVIER punishments if caught breaking a rule?:
