Poking my head in the door (possibly returning?)

Hey- Hey! It's been a few years since I've been around Willard, but I think about it often and miss it. I've been moving homes for the last year, struggling with lots of life stuff I won't bog down in here.

Just wanted to ask how the community has been, what's going on with the overall server story, and just generally stick my head in the door again

I love this community so much, but I often have to take very long hiatuses, which makes it extremely hard to return, and makes me feel awkward about trying to reconnect with the community and server after many months of silence, but I'm always considering it. I'm srsly wanting to hop back on Willard for nostalgia's sake and find a place of comfort in the community again

I hope you're doing alright and I'm happy to see people expressing interest in returning!

I'm unsure when exactly you had to leave, but we had quite a half doze map iterations ranging from Industrial Twenty Four, to City 8 and Terminal 7. These all had their own little lore faucets, with 'french elements' making an appearence in i24, to Yakuza running city 8 and (basically) rebuilding a town in terminal 7.

I would say that the lore is more of an additive thing to the stuff that actually brings enjoyment, and that has and always will be the community first and foremost. You can have amazing GMs that provide plentiful opportunities to develop a character, but it's up to the player first and foremost to interact with it!

The server has progressed into a 'Shoot To Kill' type of server, rather than the TBC you *might* be used to, not really sure how long ago you've been here buttttt y'know.

S2RP is starting to be encouraged more, so there's that!

I do have a youtube channel where I upload some expeditions one of my characters has went on, I'll go ahead and share it

We are going to be hosting a two-week-long mega-event in July! That might be a good time to come back.

I don't know you at all, but I did also return to Main after two years (though I guess staying in Short Stories makes the hiatus much less). It's been fun!

Heeey!! I've been playing the last few days doing slums RP stuff so I'm not too overwhelmed, but I'm having a lot of fun playing late night! I'm still getting my footing but enjoying a lot of what I've come back to.

P.S I'm also a bit of a MPF addict
I want to return to the force with my old character but not sure who I should approach/talk to about it. (I've returned from so many hiatuses they usually just let me return with my previous MPF)

If you create one, and it is of high-enough quality, I am sure they'll welcome you back in! (On the same character, I'm not sure.)

Try asking one of the Civil Protection Leads 'Ozzekiel, Tsunami, Claptrap' about it, and they can give you more information on that front!
