As we all know, Willard is insanely unique when it comes to Rebel Roleplay. We have the insane, never-ending, grind which only makes you progress via Admin characters (Example: Event Chars, BMDs having to order off of admins). However, this is not something good, and I think we should try to change this. Sure, they are busy with an apparent new BMD system however, surprise surprise, there isn't any player input on it (AS FAR AS I KNOW)

Anyhow, after some talk with some people I've decided to write down some points that IMO should be implemented or at least discussed. Feel free to add anything, and don't shitpost.

Personalized Smugglers
Now, I know this is more of a development suggestion than anything, and developers are also busy and everything. However, I don't think anyone has ever made smth like this, so if possible I would still like this to be looked at. I will now quickly explain how it would work.

Currently, you have the "COLLECTIVE" smuggler, where the smuggler has 2000 chips and 200 stock and everyone can sell things to lower the chips and fill the stock, buy things to higher it or to lower the stock. However, this is just easily abused by some high tiered rebel groups who make it impossible for new players to progress. My suggestion would be implementing a system where every player has their own personalized smuggler, they will all have maybe 500 chips and 50 stock, or 1000 chips and 100 stock, whatever feels needed.

BMDs Part 1
So, we have the new BMD system incoming, but like I said there is 0 player input (as far as I know). I do have some suggestions for this new system, so I might as well name them here if I'm busy.

So, instead of having it be like
>Receive order
>Put Chips in Crate
>Wait 3-4 business days
>Deliver order

Have it be like this; you have the bartering section, change it so you have a section called "BMD" or whatever you want to call it, where everything costs chips. It would be like the Smuggler section of the skills, but this time with the bartering things, so you order something and wait around 30 minutes for it to be delivered (Like the Smuggler) before you can pick it up in a nice dropoff point, then you can craft the materials/deliver them, and boom, order done.

BMDs Part 2
To continue off of the last part, I think instead of having this whole BMD system we should have the Rebel Leaders have a set amount of wage they get for simply having "PLAYTIME". This would help them be more active on the server, spend their time Passive RPing with other rebels to earn their wage and have them get chips.

Now, why is this as a "BMD" section? It's because in my opinion the Rebel Leaders should gain access to their very own BMD section as I explained it in Party 1, now, yes, this might mean more people will circlejerk... And it's harder to find out if they are self-supplying, but this will go a long way in making the grind easier, thus giving people more time to roleplay and to interact with eachother.

These are some of the changes I thought of, be sure to post whatever you want to be implemented underneath this... And I hope things will be looked at.

I believe the potential of private bmds should be emphasized more often. It brings those with coordination skills to rally up anticitizen players to make mass purchases, allowing players their access to a private stock as a vote behind a chip paywall. This in turns allows the building of connections, but at the same time - vulnerability of the connections being exposed. Interaction between players will be in this scenario crucial! And it is the very interaction in this gamemode which is roleplay!

It could eventually turn into bartering through BMD where specific character types prioritize specific resources and trade away their access of other resource stock in exchange (People who prioritize health stocks empty their stocks of weaponry for health stocks). Consider every player having their own private farm of 10 different resources in equal amounts. To achieve max tier of one resource path they need 10 resources of that type -. With 10 other players, they are to trade their remaining 9 different type of resources in order to get 10x of resource type 1.

This would essentially encourage specialization, just like the traits and stats are for characters. It could be made possible that to excel more than a Tier 10 item of a single resource type, you'd need more than 1 specialized character who is aiming for that specific resource type. Taking a more solo path, however - is penalized with slow progression of a special path.

The achievement done here is playing with resources to assume the role each player plays.

I think that staff should look more into the playerbase and their suggestions rather than just checking it between eachother, as far as I know the current Rebel Representatives aren't allowed to say anything to the playerbase about the changes happening towards the BMD system whatshoever.

Which is incredibly funny, considering they should REPRESENT us... Can't really represent us if they aren't allowed to discuss any of the changes being made or being discussed, can they?

As far as I know, and don't quote me on this because I don't know anything (Because I'm a player). Nothing gets told to the playerbase until it happens, and like I said in my other suggestion, Willard suffers from the thing called "Making complicated solutions for simple problems", and some of the playerbase knows this and they can help with EASY fixes, like some people in here like Booile, like myself, like Alessio, etc.

However, (minus Alessio) we don't know shit because we have 0 transparency with staff and players and know nothing about what's going on behind the scenes because staff loves being secretive and mysterious or something. I know, you don't have to share EVERYTHING, but in regards to BMD system, new Rebel systems for V2.5, etc... It's better to have some transparency.
