So, here's an interesting idea, rebel Vort clothing. Basically, rebel clothes fitted onto Vorts, let me run down all of the items needed.

Headwear

The Beanie:
The beanie would be the stiched cloth beanie that can be used by both humans and Vorts.
Though it might keep the Vort warm, it also covers up your three smaller eyes.
(The item for it would be the normal beanie worn by humans)

Torso and Body Gear

Blue Jacket:
As the name implies it's an unbuttoned blue shirt with raised sleeves, it doesn't bear any resistance insignia or any kind of protective gear.
It's stitched together, with some parts of it being torn off and the cloth itself dirty.

(this would be its own separate item named "Blue Unbuttoned Shirt")

Kevlar and Armpads:
This is the Civil Protection standard vest now fitted for the vorts torso and third arm (with now a gaping hole pierced in the chest area)
This would also come with Armpads with marked-off Combine insignia
(This would be its own separate item named "Modified Kevlar and Armpads")

(Nothing in-game that I could find really resembles it but it's just the normal Kevlar vest worn by rebels.)

Legwear

Blue Padded Pants:

This is a pair of dark blue pants that have been strapped some padded leg armor and some small pouches on the waist
The Padded Pants themselves haven't been changed so drastically that they can be worn by both humans and Vortigaunts
(The only real difference is that the pants themselves would be rolled up.)

(This item would be the same pair of padded pants worn by humans)

Conclusion

That's all that I really had to say, please leave your feedback in the replies.

You're not offering a lot of variety with this suggestion. A modeler would have to create/modify pants that are wearable by Vortigaunts and realistically stick to their bodies, same with shirts/jackets. It is very unnecessary and would be a waste of time for the developers/modelers part as they'll be investing their time into something that isn't really worth adding in the first place. The blue jacket is also just Uriah's labcoat colored blue. Of course, you could always just add skins from other workshop addons that add clothing variety to Vortigaunts, but still, that will only appeal to a select few Vortigaunts in my opinion, but concerning this specific clothing suggestion, I think this would just be a waste of time to model clothes specific to your request for such a minor faction.

Vortigaunt's also aren't privy to wearing clothes themselves canonically. They tend to prefer to be naked, likely concerning their customs in which skin complexion is a huge factor in the Vortigaunt's hierarchy.

Don't think this is really worth it chief.

Vorts should look distinct and not try to dress like rebels. Can't see this being beneficial when theres plenty of variety as is.

The Willard pack already contains vort clothing, some of it custom made for the server so if the devs decided to invest their time into adding those models the surely they can invest their time into these ones

First off, I used the lab coat purely as a concept

I mean if you wanna use workshop addons go for it. As for it being a waste, this is one of if not the worst excuses I've seen that just says "well vorts are such a small faction let's not take any suggestions from the community because they're so useless"

Yea except Uriah would debunk this and also, we have Vort clothes.

Oh and uh let's not forget this:

1. Don't expect devs to take up a project that they don't want to do, especially a completely unnecessary suggestion that's only a waste of time.

2. The blue labcoat is literally the focus of one of your clothing suggestions, so it is very much up to critique.

3. I didn't say that, not once did I say vortigaunts are useless or don't deserve suggestions. I'm just saying that they are such a minor faction in comparison to others and because of their insignificance in comparison, especially to the greater schemes of things in terms of roleplay, it doesn't really warrant that much development being put in into creating custom clothes. As for the workshop models, sure. You're distorting what I actually said and arbitrarily adding your own falsified meanings behind my words.

4. I actually had this in my original response before removing it; Uriah is an exception because he is a Lambda scientist.

5. Sarcasm.

Of course, my intent was that these can be worn separately, and really, the "rebel" part of the uniform is the vest, anything else can be worn without it

We had a developer around here willing to do more clothing stuff for vorts but that ended rather quickly after I told him that we were not using the HL:A model.

Shame, and I had such a good list of ideas written out for the guy.

(We really could do with alternative Vortigaunt skins at least though...)

I do remember Adi making a little flannel jacket with a satchel

Gonna need to deny this as we already have quite a selection of vort clothing and we don't have the capacity to add more atm
