RebelRP ISN’T Dead

When looking over that, I could almost certainly smell "mission failure." --- They didn't check properly. lmfao
Straight up, when I was Civil Protection we would get mission failures for things completely out of our control. I can only imagine what happened the ass whooping these guys are getting for not even finding a suspect, lmao.

Please don’t do that, it destroys props and scripts, including notes.

I get it was probably a joke, but it’s better to let GMs know, lol.

fires 2 more headcrab canisters into slums

From what I saw, it wasn't even a sweep. It was a retaliation measure, to punish the slummers for what has occurred. The RL said himself "I'm done playing a victim. Go in there, ravage the slums" or something similar. We were there to just beat people up, that's it.

My man Omega was kicked out of cp faction, got exiled from the server for bringing the poetry of PEMDAS and now he taking vengenace

That being said, I've seen A-lot of improvement and changes then from D9 and prior and I find the server really fresh and interesting and hope to see more groups of people come together and form like the guys trying to rebuild the homeless shelter and the slums defacto Police which have been essentially our only saving grace lately from the zombies and headcrabs.

The daily destabilization is great Aswell the atmosphere so far has been nailed. Big round of applause to the staff team GM's And CT included!

The events today with the Tyrant were pretty awesome seeing Civil Protection battle an alien beast they had no chance in hell of defeating was interesting.
Shops require ongoing support and we need to work on getting them going again (especially in the sewers & slums)

We've been working very hard to use events to steer the story in the direction we want. As I said months ago, this wasn't necessarily an issue with the playerbase being 'bad' or whatever, just that they had little direction. The creative team, radx, and admins have been working very hard these last couple of weeks to craft events that help with steering the rebs into doing what we want. I think its working and that people are happy.

The main shift was in using important factions (like the CCA) to tell the narrative. To have important characters intentionally make bad decisions in order to be a villain to both civs and CPs.

This was a gamble, but it had a great effect on the CPs and civs both. It's a lot more interesting than assuming that typical antagonizing CPs will do all the heavy lifting in telling the story. Now we know that this method works and we have to keep going. However, we can't push things too hard or else it will seem forced.

It is clear now to most of the staff team that there is no autopilot, we have to keep flying the plane. I've said this a number of times over the years but, now that we're in a good place because of their work, I think that folks have learned how important the staff team is and what they're capable of influencing ICly.

We're nothing without a healthy playerbase, but a playerbase will stagnate without support of the staff. Its not that one is more important than the other, its that they are both vital organs in a larger body.

Definitely seen an improvement as opposed to the last few months so major props to the entire staff team for the work.

It should be noted Rebel rp (With the exception of bandits and gangs) Has done a complete 360 and I think if the rebels keep up the good work they've been doing to off set the negative things the combine have been doing icly they've got a solid chance of winning back the people. (Again this being said a distinction between bandits/gangs **NEEDS** To be made. you can still be a violent war criminal and not be a bandit)

Its hard to differentiate actual rebels trying to win the support of the people and thugs/gangsters since we dress so similarly in appearance. One could see a thug doing thug things and see him as a rebel, etc.

Other than that, I'm really liking where we're going in the new direction for Rebel RP.

Rebels should work to stop gangsters and what not from preying on citizens.

It doesn't create rp for anyone when there's 19 guys hanging out in a housing block ready to PK you over wearing an armband or 12 credits. Noone likes those people I doubt even the rebels like them

Orwell receives report on rebel bombings..

Spams district-wide search button 999999 times

You'll get a new orwell policy friday rebels, you've earned it!:approve:
Rushes inside Orwell Büro and screams :" THE FRENCH ARE COMING"

We can't just breach into every door all the times we scan CZ.
Some people who might judt be doing passive inside their home will simply get busted for someone who decided to bomb cp1 for the 80th time. Sometimes we bust all doors down other times we don't
