If a CWU member starts a work shift, anyone can walk upto the machine at any point, scan their CID, and walk off. They'll receive rewards at the end.
So, here's my suggestion: Have workers scan their CIDs both at the start and at the end. That way you know who was there for the entire shift.

If someone scans at the start but not at the end, they've left mid-shift, or skipped the shift entirely.
If someone scans only at the end, they weren't there for the entire shift

If the workshift terminal was inside, it'd stop people walking up to it mid-shift, but it wouldn't stop people just walking off during the shift for example.

I was thinking something similar - it might be easier to just add a 'lock' button on to the terminal, which means you can't add additional CID's until the terminal is unlocked. If people manage to escape the shift, then they'll suffer the IC consequences of that - and, if they don't, then so be it.

For now, though, I'll just let people know to spawn the Workshift Terminal entity *at* the workshift site.

Yeah a lock function would be great, but putting the workshift terminal inside somewhere with a lock would be great too.

It wasn’t meant to be outside and available all the time. But yes, will make something here.

EDIT:
Also I'd like to mention that the rewards aren't automatically assigned and are given by a CWU member, so they should actually check if people participated or not, before handing out rewards.

When you hover over buttons it shows what they do now

Added pause registration that essentially blocks people from registrering to the workshift when enabled.
Thanks.
