What was your rp experience the first time you played hl2rp?

Some small HL2RP community some guys I knew ran back in October 2014. Around December 2014 is when I joined LemonPunch

I played on a semi-serious server called Requiem all of the time. Mainly, I just fucked around with the resistance, conscripts, Civil Protection, and on incredibly rare occasions the OTA. They had some fucking amazing events.

I don't even remember what the first server I played on was. I just remember joining a C18 server, being brought to the top of the Terminal for a sit, and the admin forgot I was up there. Just so happens that they had an admin item spawner there with all the guns and ammo and everything you could possibly want. I didn't know how the hell to use it, so I just picked up a pistol from the ground and shot a CP below me and got subsequently permabanned. Excellent experience 10/10.

2012. I joined a server, sat there for 15 minutes while admins tried to explain the gamemode to me while I paid the bare minimum of attention. Got released, put on the wall by a cop, punched him and ran off. Perma banned.

I want to say somewhere around 2014. I had mostly played Dark RP in 2013 along with Military RP and Star Wars RP in early 2014. I eventually joined a HL2 RP and the addiction started from there.

8 wasted years on GMOD bros.

2009 in Relentless Roleplay when Clockwork was still Prototype. Moved to Mobius Gaming with Atle in like April'ish 2010

2009 as well with RRP when it was called Nexus, then OpenAura and finally Clockwork. A spring of servers from 2011-2013. Joined Lemonpunch in late 2013 and revolted with the others during the 2016 Separation. Went to nebulous until this late 2020 when it got way too bureaucratic with roleplay. Now I am here and having a better time now since 2017.

During that times I created the innovative idea of CWU workshifts in LP as Deorio Vasiliy. I also started the first code of the ration token, the additional /anim commands, and the cremator whitelist.

Two servers; Relentless Roleplay - the first proper time I got really into the Half Life 2 roleplay community + learning how to RP as a Civil Protection unit (I still remember the numbers of my first unit) and GT Gaming, which was pretty cool.

i started gmod back in 2008 when i was very young, played on fuckin necropolis epidemic rp, then relentless coast rp. also played a bit of revolt gaming too

I remember Necropolis.

Was fun while it lasted tbh
I was like 8-9 years old and made Jimmy Neutron, then an admin spawned mutant shits to kill me cause I kept script hunting. good times. crazy how shit like that is more advanced and developed than most recent rp servers

Logged into Nebulous
Walked over to Residential with suitcase that I spawned with
[TIMER: 5MINUTES SINCE JOIN]
Gets pinned by cops, beaten, executed and PK'd for having a suitcase

Logged into Willard
Walked over to Residential with....Nothing but my clothes
[TIMER: 5~minutes]
Walks around the corner near hub at the alley, lost- bumped into a cop. Gets beaten for making him a teenie bit scared

Ah yes the cycle repeats.

First got into roleplay when I joined this BMRP server, I think it was called Aerolite or something like that, that was just a reskinned darkRP mode. Eventually they switched to hl2rp and basically played like that on the half dozen spin-off communities that followed that one. Then I randomly switched to one clockwork server to check out what the "serious vibe" was about, and basically found a communist group on my first day and all that shit and got randomly PK'd by a CP after being tortured for information.
Switched to SCG after that, but I didn't fully commit to serious hl2rp until I got into CMRP.

Zooko Gaming, 2012.

Honestly, I was 12, don't really remember much of it except for a buddy of mine named Matt. Friends on Facebook now, still talk from time to time, good dude.

Fast forward to 2014, Shockcore Gaming CMRP (@verTix CRP is trash) played a few decent Conscripts, and eventually left.

More fast forwarding to 2017, Shockcore still existed funnily enough, played LCpl. Kenneth Carman for over a year, got him up to SSgt. before the Conscripts decided to leave the Union in 2018, where I was promptly captured and executed by the Union (go figure lmao) Started staffing around this time too, made close friends with @Denny and Crunchy, and a bunch of other people I still talk with. Cesare De Luca, along with Crunchy's character Vito made fucking bank off of illegal activities fronted from an Italian restaurant.

Good fucking times, SCG is like, half-dead atm, so here I am.

Earliest I can remember was a server called ERP, or Eclipse Roleplay
They gave loyalists guns
-Got CP
-Gave guns to my friends
-Got caught
-got blacklisted
-Went on as a civ
-Got executed by a loyalist for stealing a ration from a workshift
-Made a new civ
-Put “tier 15 loyalist” in my desc and ran around with an MP7
-Tricked CPs into believing tier 15 loyalists can carry MP7s and can enter the nexus whenever they want
-Killed the CA
Ah, eclipse role play the only server that let my rebel char have OTA armour
