Community Meeting Aftermath Resolutions

Most of the people expressing disapproval or who voted against having a whitelist are the same people I can’t imagine passing the whitelist in the first place.

Nothing of value lost.
That’s what I’m saying bro

Regardless of their 'value' the fact remains that none of them are wrong - WN is not in a position to close itself off while hoping a magical influx of good roleplayers appears to fill the void.

And if nothing else, "Nothing of value lost" was the common train of thought as WN pissed away its dedicated players while mocking them before, too. Don't think that worked out terribly well, did it? Right now these players are playing your server. Keep insulting them and that won't last too long.

This is only foretelling of the elitism I said the whitelist would bring. Even with no whitelist, it’s already there.

I literally havent seen you roleplay since the server re-opened, treating the people who actually do bother to play with such vicious and open contempt while you sit on FFXIV as essentially nonplayer is fucking embarassing, ESPECIALLY since willard is in no position to lose additional players.

Server’s been up for two days. I’ve played for a few hours but I was unfortunately short for time considering it was the weekend and I had other plans to attend to.

Yeah, but what about responding to the important part of Freudeka’s message?

This is the toxicity thing I’m talking about is just gonna increase with a whitelist. Instead of talking about pros and cons, your only straw man of an argument is “Well, the people who don’t want it wouldn’t be whitelisted anyway. Nothing of value lost”. An argument which is complete speculation, and just proves one of my points, showing there’s clearly already toxicity in how people (especially staff) view the value of the actual players.

Ok enough roleplay grandstanding. Stand down

If Willard wants to accelerate its death so be it

Willard staff be like

TBC was a big turn-on, shame it's being shelved. Can someone give a quick TLDR on the reasoning behind this change?

Well even an observer to a scene would be dragged into the TBC chain, so spectators would end up making combat unbearable. (Think two people stabbing each other and 30 people start to show up...) It was also heavily skewed towards melee. I haven't seen a situation where anyone who was not trying to escape a combat situation wanted it.

If this is to work the server has to have a serious look at the crafting/BMD elements, certain factions that mainly encompasses CCA departments and CWU
