Mugging for greed and why it's good

Honestly, I'd like to see a mega-event of some sort where all of these restrictions are lifted, we could see how the server handles a different ruleset without putting peoples main chars at risk

Imo I think it'd just turn into Begotten lite.
Just a bunch of chaos.
So automatically I'm down for it.

A week of chaos could be super fun, people don't have to worry about losing all of their progress and get to do something very different from the usual. I think a mega-event like this could result in some really good player-driven conflict.

I think a week-long "anarchy" city event would be fun, players would be allowed to do whatever they want, and the only thing to keep players in check would be either the CPs or other players looking to dish out vigilante justice. CPs could even choose to disobey dispatch to do their own thing (at the risk of amputation of course).

So it would be an entirely player-driven event, players would be responsible for keeping things orderly, and if they fail to keep the city stable until the end of the week, the combine come in and clean things up by force. An event like this could go wrong, its a pretty big risk and I feel it could end up like the Beijing event we did a while back, but I think it's worth the risk, we shouldn't be afraid to try new things.

Why take the risk and mug them, giving them reason to hunt you down rather than just outright killing them, making them completely unaware of your true intentions.

And as for those who keeping saying “It feels bad losing scripts.” Yeah who would of thought that getting up to 5 of your items taken from you isn’t fun. Mugging isn’t meant to be a fair thing either, that’s why getting mugged is so scary.

If you’re getting mugged tough luck buddy, and if you’re the one doing the mugging, tough luck buddy, there’s always a bigger fish.

You don't have to specifically have a reason to kill someone to mug them, your character could be in a desperate position (e.g debt with CPs absence of money) in which they'll have to rob somebody of their belongings to SAVE themselves, not greed

It's a min-max practice, if you mug someone you have a vendetta license for, you can force NLR them or at best put them on PK so that they can't hold you accountable for mugging them. Really shows how a PK-license can go a long way.
 
Turn it into an arc
Purge arc, all crime is legal (by server rules, crime still illegal icly.)

Mugging for greed? Yes!
Killing for greed? Yes!
PK every death!

I think it would be better to do a stand-alone mega-event for this, dont risk any main chars, have people make new ones.

It will let us see how something like this would actually work

Was thinking of this.
A no-holds-barred type of event, where a lot of restrictions are lifted, allowing the server to fall to controlled anarchy.
 
CWU will make a dark RP base out of the warehouse, they use phys guns and tool guns to defend from the foul peasants

You're literally an edgy kid trying to portray a black person with the most stereotypical racist name and called my character not only a SLUR, you also robbed him and called him a 'coinslot'.

Meanwhile this is your character's name. You should be happy I roleplayed rather than calling the admins on your ass for mugging for greed.
