To be brief. We just tested it out. It's needlessly convoluted, and overly slow. Realism is good and all, but this is just fucking horrendous. Please, for the love of god, remove this sytem, and re-implement the old one.

Okay, few quick changes I did: [...]
This is awesome. Thank you for your continued work and effort - and quick, too.

P.S.

As a side note, thanks for the transparrency of what you're working on as well. I think that will serve to ease some minds or at the very least give us a bit of insight.

People, I already said this. System's staying, and I've made my peace with it. All we gotta do is adapt. The system isn't that game-ruining, and is actually pretty fun now that I've given it a try. A bit annoying to use in it's current state, but it's being worked on, so have faith.

Is there any way to stop the stupid gun from switching magazines every time I raise/lower my gun? It's fucking annoying.
bind <key> "say /toggleraise"

Will look into it to see if I can stop it from happening while you are raising your gun, but might be somewhat more complex to do it without breaking reloading your gun while it is lowered. Else I'd have done it already as it is a simple if gun is lowered then no reload.

you can have it without magazines but go off
There is if you start from scratch, but I can't be bothered to recode the plugin to not have the magazine stuff in there. And I am not going to do it (nor is any other of our devs) so... If there's anything I learned in 10 years as a dev is that someone always QQ's about a feature you add and wants the old system back.

The old ammo system sucks too. Besides it is only a few players complaining about the new system here, everyone else I spoke to liked the idea of it.

Going to close this complaint now; after a few days of inactivity and generally known the system is going anywhere, only being improved.

Magazines jumping around is a good point. I can actually look into this. E.g. make a magazine go back into the same spot it was taken from when you reload, unless something else is there in the meantime. Actual 10/10 useful feedback.
Because I was at it, this has been added too now. If you don't put other items in their place, magazines will go back to the slot they came from when you load a next magazine (assuming you still carry that inventory with you/it is your main inventory).

People, this thread is as good as closed, can you read more than just the first god damn line?
